Rachel is a wine dealer and travel guru, with a formal background in architecture and art history. Originally from New England, her sprouting wanderlust led her to Santa Fe, NM for her undergrad, and later to San Francisco, CA to study architecture and work for a few years in that field.

 

Meanwhile, with wine country in her backyard, she became acquainted and enamored with the world of wine. She visited Napa and Sonoma frequently and attended every wine show that came to the city. Though she loved San Francisco, she ultimately felt that the routine and structure of corporate life was going to suffocate her, and her adventurous spirit.

After several years, she left San Francisco and the corporate world behind to pursue her burning passion to travel the world. 

​

For nearly two years she explored more than a dozen countries and lived / worked / volunteered in South America, Southeast Asia, Southern Africa and Europe. Upon returning to the USA she realized that she could make her passion for travel and wine into a living - as a wine importer, and eventually, a wine tour operator. 

​

She has since built countless relationships with folks from all over the world, speaks multiple languages, and knows her way around dozens of cities and countries. 

 

She currently lives on the west coast of Mexico with her husband, Alex. They spend 2-3 months per year in Europe, sharing beautiful off-the-beaten-path paradises of the world with happy clientele.

For 7 years she has been designing and leading small-group tours and yacht cruises in France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Portugal and Spain. She is currently designing future trips to South Africa, Mexico, Argentina and Southern Italy.
